James' Top 3 Cyber Talk Radio Episodes of the Year
As audio engineer on Cyber Talk Radio (CTR), I get a unique, fly-on-the-wall perspective on the conversations and guests that our host, Bret, interviews every week. These are my top 3 interviews out of the over 50 we've done in 2018.
On CTR, we talk to a lot of guests about cybersecurity and cybersecurity education. Rarely do we talk about physical security, and the technology behind it. This was a really fun episode, with compelling stories and a great guest. How can you harden the security of your home or business using technology without breaking the bank
One of the first episodes that Bret monologued. This one came out at a good time because Zuckerberg was testifying in Congress on television basically as we recorded this episode. This episode demystifies a lot of myths about data privacy, and what you should look out for to protect your data. Are you too paranoid, or not paranoid enough?
As a retro enthusiast and junkie for, well, junk, I loved this episode about the San Antonio Museum of Science & Technology. The museum has an incredibly impressive collection, ranging from modular synthesizers to Edison bulbs to some examples of the earliest vintage computing. SAMSAT's collection is a local treasure, and worth spending a day exploring.
